The Family That Took Him In

When Bill was in language school, a retired one-star Korean general and his family opened their home to him.

This photograph shows Bill with members of that family — their oldest son's daughter and their third child, second daughter. The mother took the picture.

They continued to accept him as family long after language school ended. Some people enter your life with a guest room and end up in your story permanently.
